Rosh Hashana 5769 Dear Camp Stone Family, We are excited to announce the following special events and opportunities commemorating Camp Stone’s 40th anniversary! Please mark your calendar and SAVE THE DATES for these amazing celebrations:
One of the numerous ways we plan to mark this occasion is by producing a commemorative publication highlighting the history of our beloved camp. We would appreciate your submitting any memories and memorabilia that you wish to share as we are in the process of collecting photographs, anecdotes, camp “isms”, and special mementos. Descriptions of how camp inspired you and what camp means to you now that you look back over the years would be very meaningful. We would love to include your reminiscences as well! Please, when the above survey arrives in your inbox please take the the time to complete the informational parts of the survey as well as the memorabilia section. We encourage you to forward our website address to anyone you know who would like to be included – former campers, staff, and extended Camp Stone friends. Please forward your materials to us using campstone3@aol.com. Using this address will ensure that your photographs and various memorabilia will be received by the appropriate people. Lastly, if you have larger materials like an entire scrapbook or posters, Yehuda Rothner will be visiting many cities during the month of November and time will be allotted during his recruitment meetings to collect 40th Anniversary materials from whomever would like to contribute to the commemorative volume.
